Why do planes hold nose up while landing?
Actually there are many reasons regarding the following issue.
The planes hold nose up during landing so that no damage could be done to the nose because it is the vital part of the plane and any damage on the body scratch are recoverable whereas nose consist of all technical devices that holds up the plane and cause severe damage financially to an airlines.
Similarly, with the nose up there is a lift and decreases angle of attack which assist to reduce the thrust and ensure the safe landing.
