Chesley Sullenberger- A hero of Aviation

Well, this post is a more different from the previous posts. This post is about the hero who made January 15th commemorate by the US conjuring in the field of aviation.



It was January 15, 2009, and the U.S Airways A320 1549 just took off from the airport with Captain Chesley Sullenberger (Sully) accompanied by First Officer Jeff Skiles. After being some times up to the sky, a nightmare haunted the day as the birds rumbling high up in the sky strike with aircraft making both engines severely damaged. After the following incident, the plane was unable to produce thrust. So, he returned the plane to made it land in LaGuardia Airport situated at the northern part of Newyork. He then turned on APU( Auxiliary Power Unit) which can be used in case both engines are damaged. He then informed the following incident to the control room. The controller the suggested him to land on the nearby airport. But captain sort of thought that he was quite short from any airport. So, he currently reported he will end up on the Hudson River which may cause severe damage.
 At last, lack of other ideas and due to the conditions of the plane he ended up on the Hudson River which you know is 100% risk. At last, he made water-landing in the middle of Huson River of Manhattan. But fortunately, the plane landed safely ensuring all 155 peoples of the aircraft safe. The water taxis and ships, with the collaboration of NYPD, helped all the victims out there. Every news headlines, all newspapers, and every media was heated with the heading of miraculous landing in the era of aviation which never ever happened. Later the board complained about being left engine and landing intentionally on river despite on the runways. After that on a press meet, the charges were all clear by the board as it was proved the left engine was also damaged. Back in 2015, The movie named Sully was made after him.
